The 1st Annual
"World Open Championship Bow
Fishing Tournament"
We are
trying to create a whole new
sport here on Possum Kingdom
Lake and we are confident
that this will develop into
just that. This
tournament helps the lake in
many ways, such as cleaning
the lake of all the trash
fish.
Our
Tournament went great, we
had 30 entries from Texas,
Oklahoma, Louisiana, and
Arkansas. Some of the
contestants where as young
as 12 years old.
The
contestants brought in about
2000 carp, gar, and drum
fish.

another really good turn out
this year, we had 18 teams
compete.
The Tournament winners were

1st place went to David
Votaw, Scott Herring and
Randy with 400 fish.
2nd place went to Doug
Hunters, Hoopty, and Josh
Terry with 313 fish
3rd place went to Michael,
Eric Johnson and Michael
Reed with 266 fish
4th place went to Duron
